Last year, Bayshore High School chose a Titanic theme, and this year it was Gatsby. This is a perfect segue thanks to the Titanic-Gatsby Conspiracy (look it up). The Polo Grill was completely transformed with lighting, drape, string lighting, custom outdoor projections, and most notably: projector mapping. The entire back wall was made to look like windows where students could peek into Jay Gatsby’s infamous parties, as well as other great things from the ’20s. Gold seems to be the big theme this 2017 Prom season. Lyman’s prom (hosted at the Rosen Plaza) was called “One Golden Night” and the students went all out. We did pipe and drape behind a car that was brought in (with 2 layers of drape), GOBO projections (including a full moon), lighting, photobooth, and DJ Chevy B on the decks. After an incredible prom, Kathleen wanted to bring DJ DLyfe’s energy to their homecoming. They wanted something new: bigger lighting, an amazing DJ, and an overall new experience to their homecoming! After an incredible homecoming preview that had the entire school dancing and raving about the 4SchoolsOnly DJs, students walked in pumped up for the best homecoming Kathleen has ever had (their words, not ours)!
